Summary

The primary role of the Systems Specialist is to provide on-site customer support.  N-site support includes installation and operation of equipment, basic operational and maintenance training, and troubleshooting and effective problem resolution.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide on-site installation of equipment and assure its operation.
  2. Deliver basic operation and maintenance training to customers.
  3. Provide troubleshooting and repair of assigned equipment at the customer site.
  4. Provide alternative solutions to customer issues where current solution does not meet customer’s expectations.
  5. Produce simulations of customer reported problems and test various alternatives and options to arrive at a resolution to the problem.
  6. Interface effectively with other departments to resolve on-site customer issues.
  7. Follow up with customers to ensure issues are adequately resolved.
  8. Act as advocate for both the company and the customer.
  9. Arrange for module exchange or factory repair of customer product.
  10. Provide high level product consultancy. Business evaluation and project scoping.
  11. Use expertise and in-depth knowledge of products (and services) to provide response to clients in the sales process.
  12. Provide sales and account management with expert product and presales support.
  13. Undertake on-site consultancy visits to clients to advise and assist in their effective choice of Harris products.

Summary

The primary focus of the role will be to manage the sales of the relevant product lines within the Middle East region although the management of other accounts in the region may be required.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Driving sales activities within the specified territory for Harris Broadcast Communications Division.
  2. Achievement of revenue targets
  3. Pro-active management of Key Accounts to achieve client satisfaction and negotiate/close contract renewals
  4. Establishing and developing strong relationships with local Channels and Systems Integrators, putting in place contracts and managing according to agreed targets.
  5. Managing the balance of direct Harris contact to key accounts and supply or fulfillment to the same accounts by Harris Channel partners (depending on product or service)
  6. Close co-operation and liaison with Professional Services and Product Groups to ensure product upgrades and delivery of services run smoothly and to ensure appropriate allocation of pre-sales and after sales resources etc.
  7. Working with local Press in the territory, establishing contact with local journalists and co-coordinating Marketing and PR activities in conjunction with Harris Marcom and PR groups and local channel partners.
  8. Participation in trade shows, client conferences, broadcast events, etc.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record of generating substantial revenue streams and exceeding revenue plans
  • Proven track record of successful negotiation and completion of major contracts
  • Account management experience at senior level coupled with complementary Channel Management experience
  • Track record of building relationships with clients and partners at all levels, inspiring trust and credibility
  • Experience of qualifying sales prospects, planning strategy and tactics and negotiating and closing sales in long and complex sales cycles.
  • Broadcast industry experience with a proven track record of sales
  • Strong interpersonal and client facing communication skills

Description

The sales manager will be responsible for the following activities:

  1. In charge of sales for broadcast and network line of products, he will cover directly three countries of the region.
  2. In addition, he will support the Branch office manager on sales activities in the Gulf region
  3. Identify the appropriate sales strategy, including channel or partner selection and management
  4. Prepare, coordinate and send commercial proposals to customers or channels
  5. Visit customers and partners in the assigned countries
  6. Report on a regular basis through existing reporting tools or ad-hoc reports;
  7. Attend trade shows and in general all mandatory company events or training;
  8. Develop efficient account management strategies including overdue control or cash collection actions
Qualifications
  • Candidate should have an engineer or Business Administration diploma.
  • Minimum 5 years international sales experience, preferable in the telecom & network industry
  • Fluent in English (and preferably Arabic) Highly Motivated, Team oriented with strong inter-personal andcommunication skills required.
  • Ability to cope with different cultural environments Fluency in computer operating systems.
  • Mobile within the region (several trips per month).

Key Responsibilities:
